"Made in USA" - Glimpse of Mudder Boots Production
It began as a brilliant thought in a garage, but now it is a proudly American-made product that hunters, trekkers, and outdoor professionals all over the country trust. In the USA, today Mudder Boots are produced with purpose and tested in the real world, to be built with a purpose, and with precision in manufacturing.
But just as rough as the trail of these boots was meant to be, the road from garage prototype to sophisticated production has been challenging.
Two Guys in a Garage to a Growing Brand
Mudder Boots started as a two-man enterprise with the common knowledge of one thing: walking in mud should not be an exercise. They constructed the earliest models in their garage, and tested stuff and structures that would provide more surface area underfoot, and not sink. It was a clear-cut idea, spread the weight better, and avoid getting sucked in, but rather ride over them.
The product was catching up since it was a product that addressed an actual problem.
In 2017, we acquired the company not only as a business opportunity, but also as a product that we personally appreciated.
The creators wanted to sell the company to an individual who would value the product as it was. They knew why it was there, trusted that it was designed, and they were prepared to go a step further.
Increasing Production: From Garage to Michigan Manufacturing
With the increased demand, production shifted to bulk production in Michigan out of the small-garage manufacturing. The initial large-scale process involved a two-step chemical system.

The A and B parts were combined and poured into molds, where the compound hardened into the trusted and reliable Mudder Boots. This process enabled a steady strength and performance while preserving the functionality of the original concept.
A New Era: Injection Molding and Engineering Redesigned
Mudder Boots has entered the new stage of production in 2024. Having conducted research, development, testing, and prototyping for about three years, the company switched to injection molding technology and presented a more sophisticated new design.
Greater precision, durability, and consistency could be achieved due to injection molding. It also led to better material efficiency and structural performance.

The revised design was not in a hurry. It was worked over, tried in actual muddy weather, and perfected many times. All the improvements were aimed at performance, namely, better expansion under pressure, greater structural integrity, increased comfort, and increased durability.
The outcome is a more sophisticated Mudder Boot that is constructed to undertake even more challenging environments.
TPU and Smarter Materials Recycled
The current Mudder Boots are produced on the basis of recycled TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) material. TPU is famed to be flexible, tough, and abrasion-resistant, which is precisely what is required when traversing marshes, flooded fields, muddy trails, and snow-covered terrain.
Through the addition of TPU, which is recycled, Mudder Boots have enhanced environmental responsibility and material performance. The boots are also rough and stable, at the same time, minimizing the amount of waste material in the manufacturing process. Innovation in the modern world is not solely about power, but rather about more intelligent production.
Made in the USA
Mudder Boots are domestically manufactured in the USA. It has manufacturing and headquarters in Houston, Texas. Although there is no storefront, Mudder Boots as a company is operating directly and efficiently, the production and management are clearly based on American soil.
This is because by retaining manufacturing in the United States, there is control in quality and uniformity and a close relationship between design refinements and practical experimentation. It is not an outsourced production. It is practical American manufacturing that is American terrain-oriented.
Constructed by Outdoorsmen, for Outdoorsmen
We did not purchase Mudder Boots to become company owners. We purchased it based on their faith in the product. Being avid outdoorsmen, we wear Mudder Boots themselves. We know how it is to get knee- deep in mud when they are hunting, hiking, or exercising outside. We understand the aggravation - and the sense of relief when you are properly equipped.
That is relevant to real-world application motivates all design modifications and manufacturing choices.
From Idea to Innovation
What was originally started in a garage has become a fine, polished, injection-molded, made-in-America product to deal with serious mud. The development of the chemical mold casting into the current injection molding, from the primitive prototypes to the engineering of recycled TPU, indicates the brand that has not ceased to get better.
